Redwood Project Summary- A full-scale renovation in Redwood transformed an older home into a refined, contemporary living space. Focused on enhancing flow and liveability, the project introduced open-plan living, a bespoke kitchen, upgraded insulation, double glazing, and structural improvements. The result is a lighter, more spacious home that delivers modern comfort, performance, and understated luxury.
Located in Redwood, this extensive renovation saw the complete transformation of an older home into a refined, contemporary living environment. The project centred around elevating the living and kitchen areas, enhancing both spatial flow and overall liveability.
The home was comprehensively upgraded with new linings and insulation throughout, alongside the installation of double glazed windows and doors to improve comfort and performance. New flooring was introduced across the living spaces, creating a seamless connection between zones and a cohesive architectural flow.
The kitchen was thoughtfully reimagined through the removal of internal walls, opening the space to form a generous open plan layout. Engineered beams were carefully integrated to support the new design, allowing for expansive sightlines and uninterrupted living. A bespoke kitchen was then installed, acting as a central feature that balances functionality with a clean, sophisticated aesthetic.
Further enhancements included a newly appointed laundry, gas radiator heating, and a full roof replacement, ensuring the home delivers both in performance and long term durability.
The result is a home that feels significantly larger, lighter, and more considered in its design; a true transformation that brings modern comfort and understated luxury to everyday living.

The Client Testimonial
Brad has a great team at Plantation Builds. They're friendly and hard-working and committed to quality. They recently transformed a neglected corner of our section: removing an old woodshed and retaining wall, attending to some minor earthworks to level and tidy the area, and replacing a tired and heavy old gate. The new timber retaining wall is structure of quality and beauty which brings a smile of pleasure to us every time we walk by, and comments of commendation from visitors when they see it for the first time. The tidy concrete pad in front of the wall with it's built-in drain has resolved previous puddling issues and provided aa surprising amount of attractive usable space. - John Greenwood
