Set within a rural landscape on Bulls Run Road, this architecturally designed home is a considered response to its natural surroundings, combining refined detailing with self sufficient living.

The home is defined by its material palette, with cedar and Nu Wall aluminium cladding arranged in a custom pattern to create visual interest and depth across the exterior. Internally, ash timber finishes and bespoke joinery bring warmth and texture, complemented by a carefully crafted kitchen that sits at the heart of the home.

Designed for both connection and retreat, expansive openings lead out to large kwila decking areas, providing generous spaces for outdoor entertaining while taking in the surrounding landscape.

Sustainability and independence are central to the design, with the home powered by solar energy and supported by inbuilt battery storage, allowing it to operate fully off grid when required. A natural water spring further enhances the home’s self sufficiency, reinforcing its connection to the land.

The landscaping has been thoughtfully developed to complement the architecture, incorporating retaining walls, fencing, planter beds, and a glasshouse to create a functional yet cohesive outdoor environment.

The result is a home that balances architectural refinement with rural living, delivering a modern farmhouse that is both resilient and deeply connected to its setting.
