Social Project

Located in Wellington, this one of a kind wellness and fitness facility was brought to life through a detailed and high end interior fit out by Plantation Builds. Engaged to deliver all finishing works, the focus was on achieving a refined, cohesive result that elevated both the functionality and overall experience of the space.

A series of carefully crafted elements, including curved walls, archways, and bespoke joinery, were integrated throughout to soften the interior and create a distinctive architectural identity. Multiple zones were thoughtfully formed to support a range of uses, from gym and training areas through to lounge spaces, a café, merchandise retail, and a dedicated children’s area.

At the heart of the project sits a purpose built wellness studio, designed as a premium retreat within the facility. This space incorporates a steam sauna, infrared sauna, ice bath, float tub, and red light therapy, all finished with microcement and Venetian plastering to create a seamless, calming environment.

The result is a highly considered space that balances performance, recovery, and community, delivering a unique wellness destination unlike anything else in Wellington.
